The principal objective of “CHES-International” is to encourage greater and more meaningful involvement in the arts, through regularly sponsored contests, competitions, quizzes and other forms of rewarded motivation. Hence, realizing the real and true significance of the society’s motto; namely: “Promoting Literature, Art, Culture & Entertainment”…. Or, as normally said, in short: “CHES for PLACE”

“CHES”  is divided into three units, namely:

1 – MAC: Music Appreciation Circle

2 – IFC: International Friendship Club

3 – GAF: Global Arts Fraternity

There’s a fact sheet defining the aims and activities threshold of each unit. These are available, upon request, by email.

Each unit operates as a distinct entity.

Individuals are free to join the unit(s) of their choice. It is only upon the expressed desire to register as a full fledge member of all three units that one becomes an affiliate of “CHES-International”.

There’s a standard 6-Month Trial Membership Period (TMP) to accommodate every newcomer.

The prospective member determines the unit(s) in which he/she wishes to become a full fledge affiliate upon expiration of the 6-Month TMP.

During the “RMP”, individuals are entitled to participate in all CHES-International activities, and enjoy full privileges as full fledge members.

The TMP FEE, per unit, is:

US$15 / EC$40 / Cdn$20 / UKSter£10

Remittance of fee is acceptable in the form of either a Bank Draft, International Money Order or through Western Union Transfer; payable to Caribtempo Communications, Inc.

During the 6-Month TMP, individuals are entitled to (a) 20% Discount on all Caribtempo Products/Productions, and (b) 10% Discount on purchases of items distributed by the company, on behalf of affiliated institutions/organizations.

Upon expiration of the 6-Month TMP, prospective members becoming bone fide full fledge affiliates will be issued a MEMBERSHIP KIT, comprising (1) automatic “TUNE-IN” newsletter subscription in its hard copy/print format, (2) Certificate, (3) I.D. Card and (4) a copy of the BRIGHT PROSPECTS CD, featuring Visioneerz, Marcquis Melody, Djate, Ras Shaggai, Earl Anthony, B.B. Jo, Inga McDaniel, The Motives Project, Dickson Ek, Seefari, Starnets, Amaru, Vernon Neilly, Jay Morris & The Jewels, Cynthia, Nyela and Pap Leo.

The GLOBAL CIRCUIT … “TGC” is issued and circulated, quarterly. This circuit letter serves a twofold purpose, i.e. (a) to facilitate snail mail member-to-member contact on a regular basis, and (b) to allow the society’s head office to appraise itself of members’ continued interest and commitment.
