Representation Policy

CARIBTEMPO COMMUNICATIONS, INC. makes provision for artiste representation at two levels; namely:

     ·        Association

·        Affiliation

Such representation may be solicited directly by the independent artiste or indirectly, through an assigned agency and/or someone designated to act on behalf of the artist. In the latter two cases, the artiste must consent to such designation. And, irrespective of such assigned declarations, CARIBTEMPO reserves the right to consult the artiste directly, and to furnish any information pertaining to services rendered to the artiste; upon direct written request.

In the case of Affiliate Registration, there is to be the designation of a specific account for all depository of funds accrued from sales of items. In the case of third party representation, such an account will have to be approved, in writing, by the artiste. And, all quarterly reports; financial and otherwise; will be presented to all signatories; i.e.: both artiste and designated representative.  

Exclusive Promotion Plan

The CARIBTEMPO EXCLUSIVE PROMOTION PLAN (C.E.P Plan) forms the basis of CARIBTEMPO’s  representation policy. It, however, makes no provision for Managerial and/or Production Services; unlike the C.A.R. Plan.

Under this plan, the artiste or the artiste’s designated representative merely hires the services of CARIBTEMPO COMMUNICATIONS, INC.; in conjunction with CARIBTEMPO ENTERTAINMENT CORP. on the common understanding that CARIBTEMPO agrees to provide promotion and publicity services for the agreed stipulated period.

The artiste and/or representative agree to furnish all material – copies of release, photos, etc. – required to carry out such an assignment.  

In turn, CARIBTEMPO commits itself to the following:

(a)     circulation of released material to radio stations,

(b)     TV networks and music criteria coverage publications within the zone selected

(b) undertake sale of memorabilia (music, music sheet,

     t-shirts, caps, videos, etc.) through its e-commerce

     website  

(c) create and operate fan club where there is yet no such operational society, or to promote such

     If existing

(d) issue publicity/promotional news releases on behalf of the artiste

(e) conduct interviews to meet publicity/promotional objectives

(f) provide semi-annual reports of all activities to all concerned

Artiste Representation Plan

The CARIBTEMPO ARTISTE REPRESENTATION  (C.A.R Plan) makes provision for a joint venture undertaking between CARIBTEMPO and THE ARTISTE … or, the artiste’s designated third part representative for a full package; viz: recording sessions, material production, promotion / publicity, distribution, booking, copyright, publishing, etc.; affiliation for a fixed duration of three (3) calendar years; in the first instance. It includes all the provisions detailed under that C.A.R Plan; in relations to THE POOL.
